THE CATCH

(what a great way to start out #7!)

Well, it started again today. I am currently watching Stage 1 of the Tour de Lance. If you know me or anything about me, you know that I love the sport of cycling and the American marvel that dominates the sport, Mr. Lance Armstrong. I don’t think it’s an unhealthy obsession, surely it’s balanced.

This is, however, my favorite time of year. Just like baseball fans love the World Series or football fans love the Super Bowl, or the World Cup (Sam), the Tour de France is the pinnacle of cycling events...... Ah I am watching history here, Lance is on Jan’s (pronounced YAWN) tail during the time trial oh my gosh oh my gosh..............................................................................................
..............................................YES!!!!!!! That was fan-damn-tastic. Wow, I need to catch my breath. That was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. You guys have to watch this over the next 3 weeks. I realize the OLN is hard to come by but there are ways to listen to live coverage on the internet. Oh yeah, and get a bike so we can ride together.

Crap, Armstrong came in second behind another american riding for CSC. By 2 seconds. Don’t worry, thats just stage one. We will be fine. 4 out of the top 6 today are American, George Hincapie (also a personal favorite and on Lance’s Discovery Team) came in 4th. Ullrich is 50 something seconds behind. He is getting an emotion beat down already.

And can I just say that Bob Roll cracks me up!!!! Where are the chops Bob???

I don't know who to blame for that last one, but I will just say that was real dirty.

Has anyone noticed how much Wade looks and acts like the guy from that Bravo show Blow Out!

Ouch!
